SNL live stream: Watch new episode with Scarlett Johansson online

The March 11th episode of “SNL” is hosted by Scarlett Johansson, with Lorde as musical guest.

Tonight’s new episode of Saturday Night Live will feature Scarlett Johansson hosting the show for the fifth time, joining the exclusive fiver timers club. The Ghost in the Shell actress will be accompanied by New Zealand singer Lorde, performing on the NBC sketch series for the first time.

Last week’s mediocre installment hosted by Octavia Spencer included a Forrest Gump-inspired cold open starring Kate McKinnon as AG Jeff Sessions following his recusal from the investigation into the alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia after he falsely stated under oath that he had no contact with any officials from the Russian government. The episode also included several nods to Kellyanne Conway’s (played by McKinnon) widely mocked photograph capturing her kneeling on the Oval Office couch.

The big question tonight will be whether Alec Baldwin returns as President Trump or if Melissa McCarthy takes another swing at White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in a week where he made headlines several times, including his use of props to demonstrate the difference between Obamacare and the Republican replacement, and his wearing of an upside-down flag pin during yesterday’s press briefing. Baldwin himself made news recently when he revealed that he may not portray Trump for much longer due to fatigue over the president’s “maliciousness.”

He also demonstrated that he may have more in common with Trump than he cares to admit as he feuded with fellow Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik on Twitter after a perceived slight on Jimmy Kimmel Live where he accused the comedian of lobbying to replace Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, with fellow comic and Bernie Sanders impressionist James Adomian later accusing Baldwin and SNL of copying Atamanuik’s take on Trump.
