Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, March 23?

With so much material to pick from, will Saturday Night Live return with a new episode tonight?
So much of what Saturday Night Live depends on the week’s news. Sure, they will always have sketches featuring original concepts and unique characters that show off the talent of the cast. But it is finding humor in the headlines that has kept SNL on for 44 seasons.
The past week was one that Saturday Night Live writers must love. The president got into a bizarre Twitter feud with his counselor’s husband. The celebrity college admissions scam isn’t going away. And just yesterday, Robert Mueller submitted his report.
It means it is the perfect time for Kate McKinnon to bring back her Kellyanne Conway impression. Or to have Robert De Niro stop into Studio 8H for another cold open as Robert Mueller. Alec Baldwin is always game to take another shot at President Trump, so he should be ready to go if called upon.
Unfortunately, all these headlines are coming at a bad time for Saturday Night Live. The show remains on a spring break meaning there is no new episode tonight. You can always be like President Trump and tune in to the rerun though.
