14 ‘Breaking Bad’ characters on ‘Better Call Saul’

4 & 5. Victor and Tyrus
These two guys are two of Gus Fring’s most loyal henchmen and enforcers. Originally on Breaking Bad, we’d first meet Victor in Season 3. Gus had assigned Victor to watch over Walter White and Jesse Pinkman as they made meth. After Jesse shoots Gale, however, Victor shows his face at the crime scene and becomes a wanted suspect. Perhaps to silence him from speaking, Gus personally slashes Victor’s throat.
Soon after, Gus brings in another loyal henchman, Tyrus, to take over. Tyrus proves to be more effective than Victor and becomes Gus’s new right hand man. Of course, he dies along with Gus when Hector Salamanca blows them all up together in that nursing home explosion.
In Season 3 of Better Call Saul, Victor and Tyrus are actually shown together for the first time. They serve as Fring’s guards when Mike officially ‘meets’ Gus Fring, though they don’t really say anything. This does establish, however, that both Victor and Tyrus have been working for Gus for years, and they will both eventually die for him.
