4. Morgan is becoming a sensei

Contributing to the group, Morgan accompanies a team on a mission to wrangle some wild hogs.  While on the site, one of the younger knights, Ben, is told to dispatch a walker. He botches this and the others save him, though Ezekiel is supportive. The king sees potential in Ben.

In the Kingdom, Ezekiel praises Morgan for his skills with the staff. The king is curious how he came to be so awesome with the weapon. Morgan reveals how he had the right teacher. Zeke asks Morgan if he will train Ben, as he wants the young knight to eventually become his right hand man. Initially apprehensive, Morgan agrees to train Ben.

As it turns out, Ben takes to the staff pretty well. Morgan and Ben start bonding right away as the combat training sessions begin. Things have come full circle since Morgan’s time with Eastman and his pet goat Tabitha. Now, Morgan gets to pass on the knowledge that will hopefully help someone else survive.

But it’s not just the weapons training that Morgan will pass on. Ben notices the philosophy book Morgan carries around, and asks to borrow it. Before you know it, the Kingdom will have their own version of Morgan. But can you have too many Morgans on The Walking Dead?
