The Walking Dead takes viewers into an interesting new settlement in episode 702, and I’m going through the five most shocking moments from the show.

After the devastating Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead, fans are given some recovery time this week. We explore a place called the Kingdom, which is much more pleasant to endure.

But it’s not all peaches and cream at the Kingdom. Let’s take a few moments to go through the five most shocking moments from the “The Well”.

5. There’s a freaking tiger on the show now

When we last saw Carol, Morgan was saving her from being murdered. She had been shot and needed help. Luckily, some men from the Kingdom found them and took them in to treat her.

Carol comes to and is questioning her new surroundings. Morgan explains the concept of the Kingdom to her— it’s basically like a Renaissance Festival. The soldiers are called “knights”, they live in a “castle”, and the place is led by a man called King Ezekiel. It’s obvious right away that Carol is not amused.

Morgan wheels Carol up to Ezekiel’s “throne”, where it is revealed he has a PET FREAKING TIGER! The animal roars, but Zeke has her under control. Why someone has a tiger in the apocalypse immediately raises a lot of questions, but one thing’s for sure. There probably isn’t a grander way for the King to make a first impression.
