Super Bowl LX will be here before you know it, and even if you’re not a football fan, there’s plenty to look forward to. One of the highlights is the Super Bowl commercials, and a number of them this year will have Saturday Night Live current and past cast members.
It’s an SNL takeover, it seems, and we’re completely here for it. Of course, it means watching the game — for the commercials only — so you can keep an eye out on everything live. Many of them are shared online beforehand now, although I do feel like this defeats the purpose of a Super Bowl commercial.
Which Saturday Night Live current cast members are in commercials?
If you’re looking out for current cast members, Kenan Thompson will be one to look forward to. He’s teamed up with DJ Khaled to do an ad for Novo Nordisk, a pharmaceutical company. He shared the tease of the commercial on social media, making it clear that it was for Sunday, Feb. 8, which is Game Day!
He is not alone, as Ana Gasteyer will also join them for this commercial. She left SNL back in 2002, choosing to focus on family and other artistic challenges.
There are questions of whether Thompson will also be in a Jim Beam commercial, as he has been spotted in commercials this year. There is no confirmation yet, so we’ll have to watch and find out.
Mikey Day is another current SNL cast member who will be in a commercial. He’s fronting Eos, a skin care brand. The teaser dropped on Tuesday, with an Is It Cake? Style bust of himself that he chops into. In case you missed it, Day hosts the Netflix series.

Multiple former SNL cast members in Super Bowl LX commercials
Gasteyer isn’t the only former member in commercials. We’ll also get to see Andy Samberg in a Hellman’s commercial, where he’ll parody Neil Diamond — Meal Diamond, if you will! Tim Robinson will be in a commercial for Rippling, where he will play a corporate mastermind.
The biggest one is Bowen Yang, who will be in a Ritz commercials with four-time Saturday Night Live host Jon Hamm and five-time Saturday Night Live host Scarlett Johansson. Of course, Johansson has another connection to the series, being married to “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost.
You can check out the ad below:
This marks Bowen’s first time back on the small screen since his departure from Saturday Night Live. However, he is more than booked thanks to podcasts, including his upcoming Winter Olympic podcast.
The Super Bowl takes place on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT and airs on NBC.
