There are more firsts coming to the late-night shows, and this time it involves the Heated Rivalry stars. Connor Storrie and Hudon Williams have found new fame thanks to the Canadian queer romance, and now they’re ready to make their late-night debuts.
They will be on separate shows, and their debuts will happen days apart. It’s an exciting time, as it marks just how far they’ve come since the beginning of the Canadian drama, which has just recently wrapped its first season. Heated Rivalry season 2 is happening, but likely not until 2027.

Hudson Williams will appear on The Tonight Show
The first to make his debut on late night TV is Hudson Williams, who plays Shane Hollander on the drama. He will appear on the Wednesday, Jan. 7 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This is a surprise announcement, as when the schedule was originally set, it only had Chelsea Handler and Sophie Turner with Sienna Spiro as the musical guest. They are all still set to appear along with Williams.
This is the first ever appearance from any cast members on the Canadian hockey romance series. It’s a huge gain for Fallon, who will also get another first next week, as he will have the first late night interview with the main voice cast of KPop Demon Hunters. Fallon also landed an eight-year first when the Duffer Brothers chatted with him about Stranger Things.
Connor Storrie will appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers
The other first goes to the other NBC late night show, Late Night with Seth Meyers. Connor Storrie will appear on Monday, Jan. 12.
Like with The Tonight Show appearance, there will be a lot to break down. Heated Rivalry’s first season finale aired on Dec. 26, 2025, and it’s been a huge success around the world. Storrie plays Ilya Rozanov, the Russian hockey star who finds romance with Williams’ Shane Hollander.
Before watching him on Late Night, Storrie will make an appearance at the SAG-AFTRA’s Actor Awards nominations on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The late night shows are all back with new episodes after taking the winter hiatus. While the schedules can change, as The Tonight Show proves this week, they tend to remain pretty steady. When they do change, it’s usually to add a celebrity, and this is one of those cases!
The Tonight Show and Late Night air weeknights starting at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
