With The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back from its two-week break, there’s no doubt that we’re ready for the guests. The week is packed with interviews all about returning broadcast shows and much more.

There is also some focus on some of the newer shows out there, such as Prime Video’s Steal. We also can’t overlook the continued focus on Stranger Things, which came to an end in 2025. Fallon has focused heavily on the series, landing an interview that hasn’t been done in eight years, so it’s not surprising that he’s continuing the focus as the actors say goodbye to their characters.

Friday, Jan. 9 is set to be a rerun. Of course, the entire schedule is subject to change, as usual.

Monday, January 5

We kick off with Sadie Sink coming to the series to talk all about the Stranger Things finale. There is a lot to break down from it, whether you loved it or hated it.

Then Josh Charles will step onto the set of The Tonight Show to talk about Best Medicine. The new FOX series has got off to a great start, and it is an adaptation of the British series Doc Martin. After that, AJR will perform on the show.

Tuesday, January 6

Lucy Liu will then step onto the seti to talk about Rosemead, which is her new production. It’s based on a true story and had been in development for five years before being released.

After that, it’s all about Will Trent season 4, with star Ramón Rodríguez taking to the stage. The season 4 premiere will have aired by the time of the episode airing, but as filming is usually done ahead of time, there probably won’t be any spoilers.

Then it’s another Stranger Things guest, as Jamie Campbell Bower chats all about his character. After that, Colin Quinn will appear.

After that, Sophie Turner will chat about her current production. Steal will drop on Prime Video, and it’s perfect for crime thriller fans. Then it’s over to Sienna Spiro to perform her jazzy pop tracks.

Rose Byrne will appear on the series, and while she has nothing of note coming up, she has just finished on Platonic, so that’s sure to come up. Then the Stranger Things lookback will continue with Maya Hawke taking to the stage to say goodbye to her character.

It will then be over to a bit of sports, with James Harden chatting about his career. He currently plays for the LA Clippers as a point guard. Finally, Miguel will take to the stage to perform.

Friday, Jan. 9 will be a rebroadcast of the episode focused on One Battle After Another and Kate McKinnon.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
