The Winter Olympics have officially started. If you missed the special episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, Feb. 6, you can catch it on Peacock right now. However, many of the broadcast late night shows are heading on a break now, with some of them airing reruns and others not getting any time slot at all.

This is only looking at the broadcast shows. The Daily Show will air new episodes throughout this week, but it will get a week off next week. This airs on Comedy Central, so not quite broadcast. When we talk about broadcast, we mean ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and The CW.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is the only show with new episodes this week

Late night TV is definitely looking a lot different this week. Between Monday, Feb. 9 and Friday, Feb. 13, only one broadcast show will air new episodes. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is running throughout the week, with a rerun planned on Friday, as normal.

The guest schedule hasn’t been set at the time of writing this. We’ll bring that tomorrow! There is a break in February coming, but that’s not until week commencing Monday, Feb. 16.

There is also a plan for new episodes of Nightline after Jimmy Kimmel Live!. That’s not a show we report heavily on here at Last Night On, but it’s something to check out during the break.

One late night show will air reruns throughout the week

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won’t have new episodes this week, but there will be some reruns. This was something we shared previously, as we noted that the ticket sales for this week of February weren’t available.

Remember that the whole of February is now sold out. If you want to see The Late Show before it comes to an end, you’ll need to act fast as new episodes are released. The good news is there is a new episode set for Monday, Feb. 16, and we’ll get new episodes all that week. The next break will be in March.

The Tonight Show and Late Night are completely pre-empted

In some disappointing news, there won’t be new episodes or reruns of The Tonight Show or Late Night. Both of these are NBC shows, and NBC will air the Winter Olympic Games.

NBC is pushing the Winter Olympic coverage over the next two weeks. We will get to see coverage throughout the night, with the odd block offered to local programming for news coverage.

Get ready for a messy late night schedule for the next two weeks!
