If one of your dreams is to attend The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in person for filming, then you’ll want to act fast. With the announcement of the last ever episode date, the tickets are starting to sell out fast.
While we checked 1iota for ticket sales to get an idea of the Winter Olympics hiatus, we saw something relatively unsurprising. It’s not going to be easy to get tickets if you don’t act fast.
February tickets for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert have sold out
All tickets in February 2026 have sold out. This isn’t all that surprising, but it comes just after the announcement of when the last ever episode will be. We now know that The Late Show series finale will air on Thursday, May 21.
Of course, as people found out about this, they realized that the end really was coming. Until we got a date, there was this little bit of hope that CBS would change its mind and that The Late Show would be saved in some way. However, it’s definitely canceled, and that means people want to see Colbert perform on the show live.
March tickets are available at the time of writing this. They’ll likely sell out fast, so if you do want to get them, then do so now.
Tickets for April and May aren’t available yet
The good news is that not all tickets for all episodes of The Late Show are sold out. That’s because the tickets for April and May are not available yet.
I checked for tickets before the announcement in the middle of January to get an idea of the February break, and there were only tickets available up to the middle of March at the time. Now, up to the end of March is available, so it looks like the tickets are being made available a couple of months ahead. This will certainly help with planning!
There are some breaks coming up in the schedule. Not only will The Late Show go dark for a week during the Winter Olympics, but there is also a break coming in the middle of March, which will likely coincide with March Madness. We could see another break in April, but it depends on how many episodes CBS has ordered. It’ll be something we keep an eye on, as we count down to the end of the series.
