There’s one thing we’ve started looking forward to this time of year. It’s Jimmy Fallon teaming up with other artists to bring fun holiday songs, and 2025 is all about the “Ugly Sweater.”
Fallon teamed up with Carter Faith for the holiday song, and as we previously shared, it was released on Thanksgiving on Spotify and Apple Music. Well, you can also listen to the song on YouTube, as there’s an adorable video to go with the song.
Jimmy Fallon and Carter Faith end up at the same Christmas party
The three-minute video starts off with Fallon getting an invite for a Christmas party. He doesn’t have anything to wear except for an ugly sweater, and it seems he thinks that others will be dressed the same. Only, when he walks through the door, he finds that everyone else is dressed in fancy clothing for the party.
Well, of course, an ugly sweater ends up becoming a fun talking point at the party. Nobody really laughs at Fallon — likely expecting him to turn up dressed in an ugly Christmas sweater — and instead, he shows it all off. That’s when Faith’s parts of the song come in, with her describing the sweater as having “more colors than a box of crayons,” with “one sleeve longer, and one sleeve neon,” and she finds it cute and alluring at the same time.
We even get a clear look at the sweater that’s part of the song. Yes, one sleeve is a neon yellow, while the rest of the sweater has more of a Christmasy theme to it. Fallon and Faith end up hitting it off at the party, even enjoying the time in the photo booth.

Jimmy Fallon wrote ‘Ugly Sweater’
The song itself was written by Fallon and produced by Dave Cobb. It’s just the latest to add to his holiday songs, which he has done over the last few years. And it’s not surprising as they are always a delight.
In previous years, he’s teamed up with Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, and even LL Cool J. This year, he chose to team up with rising Nashville star Carter Faith, bringing us a cute country-style Christmas song. It’s sure to go on the list with Brad Paisley’s holiday-themed song.
Now the question is what the song will be next year? We’ll be sure to keep an eye out!
