Picture this. You’re at a holiday party in the worst holiday-themed sweater possible, and everyone is staring. We’ve all been there, right? Well, Jimmy Fallon seems to have been, and he has a song dropping that is all about it.
The Tonight Show host is continuing with a beloved holiday tradition. He’s teaming up with another singer and bringing a holiday song. This one drops tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 27 (yes, Thanksgiving), and you’re certainly going to want it based on the theme.
Titled “Ugly Sweater,” the song is set to be everything we can relate to.
Jimmy Fallon teams up with a country singer for ‘Ugly Sweater’
The On Brand host has teamed up with country artist Carter Faith for the latest song. He shared the announcement via social media, making it clear that the song will drop on Thanksgiving. There isn’t a tease of the song, which is a little unusual for those who are releasing something new, but those who love Jimmy Fallon already know the fun that he has with these types of songs.
Ever gone to a holiday party and you’re the only one in an over-the top holiday sweater? Then you can relate. My new single “Ugly Sweater” with @carterxfaith drops on Thanksgiving! 🎄❄️☃️🎁🎅🦌

The artwork for the song is cute and on brand (no pun intended) with a minimalist cartoon version of himself and Faith. Fallon is wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, and in the background there’s a house and a pine tree.
You can currently pre-save the holiday release on either Spotify or Apple. It will be available for all once it’s out, even if you don’t pre-save. The benefit of pre-saving is that you get it added straight to your playlist.

A tradition for The Tonight Show host
Jimmy Fallon is no stranger to these types of drops. He actually started back in the early ‘00s with Horatio Sanz when they penned the original song “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” while on Saturday Night Live. However, it’s been in recent years that these drops have been something for fans to look forward to.
In 2023, he reached NO. 2 on the Billboard’s Adult Contemporary and Holiday Digital Sales charts for “Wrap Me Up” with Meghan Trainor. Then in 2024, he reached No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary list for “Holiday” with the Jonas Brothers. He has also done collabs with Dolly Parton, Metan Thee Stallion, and Ariana Grande.
This is the first collab with Faith, who is a rising star on the country scene. She just released her first album “Cherry Valley.”
So, it’s time to get ready for a song we can all relate to. While it will be in a hilarious way, it’s probably not as hilarious as Brad Paisley’s latest holiday release, but it’s still going to be a lot of fun.
