Jimmy Kimmel has found a new buddy in Congress. The late-night TV host engaged in a back-and-forth with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene over her new book.

Last week, Kimmel’s monologue reviewed MTG, calling it the first book Greene has ever written or read. The Republican lawmaker didn’t take too kindly to Kimmel’s jokes and fired off a tweet in response.

“Hey @jimmykimmel since most of your content is nonstop lies about me, why don’t you have me on your show?” Greene tweeted. “I’ll bring you a copy of my book and we can chat about what needs to happen to SAVE AMERICA.”

Kimmel’s monologue on Monday night responded. “I guess I’m a Hollywood libtard that’s part of the celebrity pedophile Satan club until she has a book to promote, then I’d love to swing by,” he said.

The comedian wasn’t done there. “This woman called the police on me for a joke and now she wants to be a guest on the show,” Kimmel said. It was a callback to 2022 when Greene reported Kimmel to Capitol Police for a joke about someone slapping Greene, similar to the Will Smith Oscar incident.

Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t want Marjorie Taylor Greene on the show

So will Jimmy Kimmel extend an invitation to Marjorie Taylor Greene? Don’t hold your breath. The comedian made it clear he has no intention of having MTG on the show.

“Part of me wants to invite her here so I can let her wait for an hour down in the green room doing power squats and then bump her. Even just to screw with Matt Damon,” Kimmel teased.

Kimmel went on to diss Greene further, showing how poorly her book has sold. It trails books by Michelle Obama, Paris Hilton, and Julia Fox on Amazon — something Kimmel gladly reported.

So it seems that Marjorie Taylor Greene is too extreme even for Jimmy Kimmel. The host has previously interviewed then-presidential candidate Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lindell. But MTG is a bridge too far for the late-night host.

There’s a decent chance that MTG will respond once again and keep the attention on her growing feud with Jimmy Kimmel. But whether Kimmel continues to give her the spotlight isn’t a guarantee.
