Another busy week has come to an end, giving Real Time with Bill Maher a chance to deliver the final word. So what should late-night TV fans expect to see tonight on HBO?

This week, Israel agreed to a temporary ceasefire, the Republican Party held another debate, Donald Trump and his daughter took the stand, and the actors’ strike came to an end. To say Bill Maher has a lot to cover would be an understatement.

The good news is that Maher will get his chance to say his piece on Friday night. There will be a brand new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight.

Maher hasn’t been shy about diving headfirst into the debate around Israel and Gaza, so expect more of the same tonight. He’ll likely also have something to say about the state of the GOP and some concerning poll numbers for President Joe Biden.

Who’s on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight?

Bill Maher’s interview tonight should make a splash. He’ll sit down and go one-on-one with Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

The Republican is out promoting his new book, Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America. Jimmy Kimmel already had something to say about Cruz’s book, but the senator may find a slightly friendlier audience in Maher. After all, the Real Time host loves to push back against “wokeness.”

Then, it’s time for the panel. The guest lineup there should also turn some heads.

Pamela Paul is a journalist featured in The New York Times. She’s made headlines for her opinions on transgender people, self-censorship, and more. That should be right up Bill Maher’s alley.

Jordan Peterson will also be on the panel. He’s a psychology professor and author who almost always gets a reaction out of someone for his thoughts on politics and society.

Real Time with Bill Maher airs tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
