Uh oh! Chelsea Handler didn’t hold back at last night’s Critics Choice Awards. The comedian took aim at James Corden whilst making a number of onstage jokes.

Whilst congratulating the cast of the new Disney+ show, The Bear, Handler told viewers: “Awesome show. They showed us how gruelling and absolutely miserable working in the restaurant industry can be and they didn’t even have to wait on James Corden.”

Handler also took aim at Prince Harry and Nick Cannon during her monologue.

If you haven’t heard (although at this point it seems impossible not to have), James Corden was blasted over social media late last year by an NYC restauranteur.

The Late Late Show host was labelled the worst customer to ever dine at Balthazar, according to owner, Keith McNally.

After the news broke, Corden was quick to apologise in private to McNally, also making a public statement on the matter via his late-night show.

It seems the controversy is still fresh in the minds of regular television viewers, who have long vowed to stay away from any further Corden projects.

Corden won’t have to face any more Hollywood backlash once he sets sail for the United Kingdom next year. The host announced in the last few months that he will officially step down from The Late Late Show on CBS.

Chelsea Handler returns, James Corden says goodbye

Funnily enough, Handler just recently confirmed she would be making a return to late-night television, although promising not to take over from James Corden on CBS.

The comedian could possibly be in the running to take over from Trevor Noah on The Daily Show after being announced as a guest host. None of this is confirmed as of yet.
