A new week of Jeopardy! episodes started on Monday night. Will be another week dominated by the returning champion or has their run come to an end?

It’s been a while since Jeopardy! fans have seen a different face as the returning champion. In fact, it’s been over two weeks!

Who is the current Jeopardy! champion?

Ryan Long, a rideshare driver from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the current Jeopardy! champion. During his 15-game winning streak, Long has banked $299,400.

His competition on Monday included Stephanie Garrison, an actor from Laguna Hills, California, and Eric Ahasic, a meteorologist from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The “Jeopardy!” round suggested it would be a tight game as all three players performed well. Ahasic held the lead with $3,600, followed by Long and Garrison both with $2,400.

Things stayed close in “Double Jeopardy!,” too. Ahasic maintained his lead with $10,200. Garrison sat in second with $9,200, and the champ was in third with $6,800.

“Final Jeopardy!” saw only Ahasic answer correctly. That meant he defeated Ryan Long and became the new Jeopardy! champion.

Long finishes in 11th place in the show’s all-time leaderboard for winnings in regular play. Fans will see him again in the Tournament of Champions.

What was tonight’s Final Jeopardy! clue?
