Who joins James Corden in Carpool Karaoke tonight?

James Corden invites yet another celebrity singer to join him for Carpool Karaoke tonight.

On Twitter, Corden announced Camila Cabello will make an appearance on tonight’s Carpool segment: “Tonight’s the night we get an all new #CarpoolKaraoke with Camila and @JKCorden”.

Cabello has featured many times on Corden’s hit series, now promoting her new album, Familia which released this month.

Previous guests have included Adele, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.

Fans have expressed excitement on Twitter over the online announcement this morning. One fan wrote: “i’ve literally been waiting for a camila carpool karaoke for years IM SO EXCITED”. Another tweeted, “SO EXCITED TO SEE JAMES AND CAMILA REUNITED AGAIN”.

James Corden on absence of Carpool Karaoke during COVID-19

This is the one of the first Carpool Karaoke segments to air after the popular series was put on hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nicki Minaj made a recent feature on the segment in Corden’s car, with the clip now surpassing over seven million views on YouTube. Speaking on the absence of Carpool Karaoke in recent years, Corden told press last week: “This was this is obviously a big part of our show — this segment. The entire pandemic … there [were] so many things that we couldn’t do, and I think that’s true of every show”.

“The conclusion we came to was not to do this segment unless we could do it right,” he continued. “So that’s why it took a long time. There’s probably a version of it we could have done a while ago, but it didn’t feel completely right.”

It seems with the easing of COVID restraints, we can expect a lot more of Corden’s hit series to continue long into the future.
