Saturday Night Live fans have been waiting patiently for the show to return with a brand new episode. Is tonight the night they get their wish?

SNL was last seen on January 29 when host Willem Dafoe made his debut. He was joined by musical guest Katy Perry for a solid episode to close out the month leading into a hiatus.

Unfortunately, that break continues on Saturday. There will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.

NBC will continue its primetime coverage of the Winter Olympics from Beijing, China. With closing ceremonies set for Sunday, February 20, it will be the last weekend SNL fans will have to go without a new episode.

The sketch show is set to return on February 26. Former writer John Mulaney will return to host for the fifth time. He’ll be joined by musical guest LCD Soundsystem.

What to watch instead of Saturday Night Live

Without a new episode tonight, Saturday Night Live fans may wonder what to watch instead. This weekend could be the perfect opportunity to catch up on season 47.

Hulu subscribers have access to the first 12 episodes of the season. Or, you can check out the official Saturday Night Live YouTube channel to find monologues, sketches, and “Weekend Update” segments from this season.

Another option is to prepare for John Mulaney’s return by revisiting some of his past sketches and monologues. Will we get another New York City-inspired musical?
