Saturday Night Live: Oscar Isaac, Zoe Kravitz set to host in March
By Matt Moore
Saturday Night Live announced two more hosts scheduled for March, adding two more first-timers to season 47. Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac and The Batman star Zoe Kravitz will each take the stage at Studio 8H next month.
SNL remains on hiatus while NBC continues its coverage of the Winter Olympics. John Mulaney is scheduled to host for his fifth time when the show returns on February 26. Mulaney will share the stage with musical guest LCD Soundsystem.
On March 5, Oscar Isaac will make his Saturday Night Live debut. He’ll be joined by musical guest Charli XCX, who gets another chance after COVID precautions bumped her from January 15 show.
Zoe Kravitz gets her turn on March 12. The Catwoman actor will get support from musical guest Rosalia.
Oscar Isaac and Zoe Kravitz become latest superheroes to host Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live season 47 has seen an unusually high number of first-time hosts. Through 12 episodes, only Paul Rudd entered Studio 8h with hosting experience.
That trend will continue with Oscar Isaac and Zoe Kravitz. Not only that, but the pair will also become the latest superheroes to join SNL.
Isaac stars as the titular Moon Knight in the upcoming Marvel television series on Disney+. It’s set to premiere on March 30, continuing Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Zoe Kravitz, meanwhile, will represent DC. She debuts as Selina Kyle/Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman. The film hits theaters on March 4.
Although it will be Kravitz’s first time on Saturday Night Live, she does have family connections to the show. Her father, Lenny Kravitz, has been a musical guest twice.
