Saturday Night Live is ready to get loud in season 47. The sketch show announced the slate of musical guests for the first four seasons.

The news came along with the lineup of hosts set to start the season beginning on Oct. 2. Loki star Owen Wilson will welcome fans back to Studio 8H. He’ll be followed by Kim Kardashian West, Rami Malek, and Jason Sudeikis.

Accompanying Wilson for the season premiere will be musical guest Kacey Musgraves. She last appeared on SNL on May 12, 2018. This time around, she’ll be promoting her new album Star-Crossed.

Paired with Kardashian West on Oct. 9 is Halsey. The episode is sure to get a lot of attention, much in the same way Elon Musk polarized audiences in season 46. But fans should expect nothing less than a stellar performance from Halsey in promotion of her album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. Look no further than her work as host and musical guest during season 44.

No Time to Die star Rami Malek will introduce Young Thug as the musical guest on Oct. 16. The rapper will make his SNL debut, promoting his upcoming album Punk.

Finally, SNL alum Jason Sudeikis will get an assist from musical guest Brandi Carlile. Surprisingly, it will also be her SNL debut. Fans can expect songs from her album In These Silent Days.

How did the musical guests react to landing a spot on Saturday Night Live?

Saturday Night Live fans had a lot to say about the host and musical guests announcement. Of course, Kim Kardashian West drew criticism while Ted Lasson star Jason Sudeikis seemed like a no-brainer.

The choices for musical guests also had SNL fans talking. But what did the artists have to say themselves? Here’s a quick roundup of their social media reactions:
