Jimmy Kimmel responds to MyPillow’s Mike Lindell calling him out
By Matt Moore
Jimmy Kimmel’s obsession with Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, has reached a new level. The late night host has caught the attention of Lindell and the two are now engaged in a public back-and-forth.
Lindell went from pillow salesman to political operative when he became a prominent figure in the 2020 election. Campaigning on behalf of President Donald Trump, Lindell made rally appearances and television interviews praising Trump and eventually challenging the election results.
The MyPillow Guy’s conspiracy theories about the election have come with a cost. By his calculations, he has lost $65 million in revenue from boycotts. He’s also facing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit brought on by Dominion Voting Systems.
Lindell’s spiral and meltdown have been frequent topics during Jimmy Kimmel’s monologues. Kimmel took his obsession further by reviewing Lindell’s webstore and new social media platform while the late night show also debuted its parody version of Lindell.
Lindell finally responded during his 48-hour live stream marathon to launch Frank Speech, his new social media platform. The MyPillow creator repeatedly called out Kimmel for mocking his website and history of drug abuse. Monday night, Kimmel took his turn to respond to Lindell:
Jimmy Kimmel claims he’s Mike Lindell’s biggest fan
The montage shows just how often Mike Lindell brought up Jimmy Kimmel during his “yellathon” as Kimmel called it. Clearly, Kimmel hit a nerve with Lindell. The MyPillow CEO is used to being mocked at this point but Kimmel’s jokes seem to have hit home.
In his defense, Kimmel claims that he’s Lindell’s biggest fan. No other late night show is giving Lindell the kind of attention that he’s getting on Jimmy Kimmel Live! these days. You have to imagine that more people know about Frank Speech thanks to Kimmel’s review of the site.
Kimmel is one of the many people and entities that Lindell claims is attacking him and Frank Speech. But according to Kimmel, Lindell’s paranoia and delusions could have something to do with the businessman’s history of drug abuse.
Kimmel is prepared to put their feud to an end on his show. The comedian offered to interview Lindell under two circumstances: Lindell appears in person on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the interview takes place in a bed. Stay tuned for Lindell’s response.
