Fans were delighted to see The Late Show with Stephen Colbert return this week. It’s back again tonight with a brand new episode!

The Late Show took last week off, so Stephen Colbert had some catching up to do on Monday. His monologue tackled both former President Donald Trump’s legal troubles and Senator Ted Cruz’s ill-advised trip to Mexico during a weather emergency in Texas.

Colbert followed that up with an interesting conversation with Bill Gates. The businessman plugged his new book while also weighing in on the situation in Texas and climate change.

It will be right back to work tonight for Colbert and his Late Show staff. There is a good chance that the monologue isn’t done with Sen. Cruz. Colbert could also share his reaction to today’s Senate hearing on the Capitol riot.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First, Stephen Colbert will interview singer Billie Eilish. She recently picked up a handful more Grammy nominations. But Eilish comes to The Late Show to plug a different project. The documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry examines the creative process behind her wildly successful album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. It hits Apple TV+ on Feb. 26.

Then, Colbert will talk with journalists and authors Anna Palmer and Jake Sherman. They are the co-founders of Punchbowl News, a news outlet focusing on influential people and events in Washington, D.C.
