Tom Brady has taken a lot of hits over his 21 seasons in the NFL but those didn’t sting as much as the mean tweets he faced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night.

Brady is days away from appearing in his 10th Super Bowl after moving from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’ll face off against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Cheifs who are looking to be the first team to win back-to-back titles since Brady did it with the Patriots in 2003 and 2004.

When you win as much as Brady has, you get a pretty big target on your back. And on Twitter, people are always looking to craft the perfect insult. Jimmy Kimmel Live! has turned “Mean Tweets” into one of the show’s most successful and popular segments.

So it was only fitting that Kimmel put together a special Tom Brady edition of “Mean Tweets” last night on the show. Everything from Brady’s look to his dog was on the table. Watch the video below:

Twitter seems to have a lot of issues with Tom Brady’s chin. It was one of the most frequent roasts the quarterback endured during “Mean Tweets.” That and all sorts of bodily harm were wished upon the six-time Super Bowl champion.

Brady took most of it in stride, projecting the cool, calm, and collected persona that has helped him on the field. But things went over the line when one Twitter user hoped for Brady’s dog to get sick. Even Brady’s haters have to applaud him for putting dogs above even himself.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! viewers may notice that some of these Tom Brady clips came from an NFL edition of “Mean Tweets” that aired in Jan. 2020. Clearly, there were just too many insults directed at Tom Brady to leave on the cutting room floor. The 2020 edition also featured Patrick Mahomes but the new face of the NFL isn’t likely to get an entire “Mean Tweets” dedicated to him just yet.

Tom Brady has a history of spreading hate on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Now we have two examples of Tom Brady getting showered in hate on Jimmy Kimmel Live! through “Mean Tweets.” But the Buccaneers quarterback has also been on the other side of things.

On the same day that he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2020, Brady helped Jimmy Kimmel go after the man the comedian hates the most: Matt Damon. Let’s look back at what happened when Brady, Kimmel, and Guillermo rolled up to Damon’s house:

It must hurt Matt Damon even more knowing that this was one of Tom Brady’s final acts as a New England Patriot. Just a couple of months later, Brady would sign with Tampa Bay and start the journey that brought him to yet another Super Bowl. Maybe Damon is one of those Twitter users taking shots at Brady now?
