Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, December 28?
By Matt Moore
What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?
With Christmas in the rearview mirror, we’ve reached the final days of 2020. Will the year close out with new episodes of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?
As always, there would be no shortage of topics for Stephen Colbert to cover in his monologue. President Donald Trump drew more criticism for playing golf following the explosion in Nashville and for delaying his signature on a COVID-19 relief bill.
Fans eager to hear Colbert’s take on these stories will have to wait, however. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show tonight as the holiday hiatus continues.
Instead, CBS will reair the Dec. 16 episode. It gives fans another chance to see Colbert’s conversation with actor Tom Hanks as well as catch a performance by Leslie Odom, Jr.
