The Daily Show once again imagined Fox News turning on President Trump

When you claim to have all the best words and routinely challenge the mental fitness of others, you better not make any public mistakes. Unfortunately for President Donald Trump, he’s had his fair share of gaffes. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah highlighted some with help from an unlikely source in Fox News.

President Trump recently made headlines by boasting about his performance on a cognitive test designed to catch signs of dementia. He suggested that former Vice President Joe Biden couldn’t pass the same test– a test that includes repeating basic words like “person, woman, man, camera, TV” for example.

Challenging Vice President Biden’s mental fitness has become a campaign strategy for President Trump. His allies, including family members and Fox News contributors, have tried to run with this narrative as best as they can.

But for The Daily Show, it is another example of projection from President Trump. So to prove its point the late-night show cut together another package of blunders from the president with an assist from Fox News:

The Daily Show continues to call out hypocrisy from Fox News

President Donald Trump fawning over Fox News during his time in office has only made the network a bigger target for late-night comedians. Hosts like Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers routinely bias the network for its bias and misinformation campaigns.

But even dating back to the Jon Stewart era, no show in late-night has had it out for Fox News quite like The Daily Show. Stewart’s on-air clashes with Fox personalities have been followed with these viral videos in the Trevor Noah era.

No matter how popular this video becomes, don’t expect Fox News to reverse course and give the same coverage to President Trump as it does Joe Biden. The Daily Show doesn’t expect to end the network’s hypocrisy, just to point it out at every turn.

The latest comes just a day after President Trump struggled with “Yosemite” and was met with more ridicule online. Daily Show fans can be assured that the clip will wind up in the follow-up to President Trump’s best words of 2019 montage from Noah and company.
