Jimmy Kimmel continued to monitor President Donald Trump’s difficult week and has now seen proof that the president is crazy.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! certainly got lucky this week. The ABC show is the only network late night show running new episodes for the week, meaning that Jimmy Kimmel has no competition when it comes to jokes about President Donald Trump. And Trump has held up his end of the deal by giving Kimmel plenty to cover.

Already this week fans have seen Kimmel dissect Trump’s meltdown as well as mark the milestone lie Trump delivered since taking office. The ongoing Ukraine scandal and the backlash from the Syria decision has put a lot of pressure on Team Trump. The result is an abundance of material with which Kimmel and his writers can play.

However, there are times when President Trump does or says something that no comedy writers could concoct on their own. In the latest instance, it was made even easier for Jimmy Kimmel Live! as Trump wrote a letter to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that read more like a tweet than correspondence between two world leaders.

Watch as Kimmel reads the letter to his audience, making sure to reiterate that the show did not alter any of the words. The letter is all the proof Kimmel needs to confirm his suspicion that Trump is in fact crazy.

Reports are that the President of Turkey threw Trump’s letter in the trash after reading it. That is either an indication of how little Erdoğan respects Trump or perhaps he, like Kimmel, took the letter as the ramblings of a crazy person.

The letter will be added to the long list of other examples Kimmel and the rest of late night have used to claim President Trump is unstable and off his rocker. Typically those examples come from Twitter or an improvised speech at a rally. The fact that this letter was sent to a foreign leader in an effort to stop a war may be why Kimmel gives it such special attention.
