At the Emmys, Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live! once again proved he gives the best interviews in Hollywood.

Coverage the Emmy Awards typically begins hours and hours before the actual presentation. Winner predictions and style choices are discussed all over television and online. But when winners like Phoebe Waller-Bridge finally walk off stage, the only coverage worth watching comes from Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s Guillermo.

Guillermo has worked his way up from parking lot security to sidekick to now one of the best correspondents in all of television. Whether it is the Super Bowl, the Oscars, or the Emmys, Guillermo always delivers and manages to get celebrities laughing (and drinking) in the process.

The year’s Emmy Awards were no different. Jimmy Kimmel Live! may have missed out on an Emmy but that didn’t keep Guillermo from celebrating. Not that Guillermo needs an excuse to have a few shots of tequila, that is.

The biggest winner of the night was Fleabag creator, writer, and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Her post-Emmy celebrations went viral and now we can see how it all started.

As always, it is Guillermo who is having the most fun even compared to Emmy winners like Bill Hader, Alex Borstein, and Jharrel Jerome. But Guillermo’s giddiness, and drunkenness, is infectious and it looks like everyone warmed up to him eventually.

Stars were much more open to taking tequila from Guillermo than they were any of his snacks. Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau looked like he may have started the party a little earlier than the other guests. Maybe it was because he knew he had no chance against co-star Peter Dinklage for the Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy.

Guillermo’s back-to-back interviews also revealed that Alex Borstein does an impressive dolphin impression, Billy Porter’s Emmy smells like gold, and Patricia Arquette is not up for strangers crashing on her couch. All in all, another hard-hitting set of interviews from Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick.

We certainly haven’t seen the last of Guillermo’s award show coverage. He’ll be back at it for the Oscars. Keep checking Last Night On for all the highlights from Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the rest of late night television.
