It’s back to school time so Last Night On revisits some of Saturday Night Live’s best school sketches.

It seems like “back to school” season has become its own holiday. There are special sales in stores and an entire industry built around getting students ready for a new school year. Whether you’ve been out of school for decades or heading back soon, just about everyone can relate to school days–especially Saturday Night Live.

Saturday Night Live  has been spoofing every and any cultural event or personal milestone a person could experience since 1975. It doesn’t matter if its a holiday or a season or a pop culture event. Chances are pretty good that Saturday Night Live has made fun of it in one way or another.

School is certainly a good example of something SNL has had a lot of fun with over the years. Whether it is mocking substitute teachers, high school students, or college admissions, the show has found humor both absurd and very relatable when it comes to education.

Last Night On has pulled together some of those best sketches for your entertainment. They may help if you’re nervous or excited about getting back to school. Or they may make you glad (or nostalgic) that you graduated years ago and have to worry about going back to work and not school. Be sure to let us know which one was your favorite or if we missed a classic.
