Expect to see wall-to-wall coverage of Game of Thrones all week on late night show.

Winter is coming. So too are the interviews to promote the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. There is no better place to plug a show or movie than late night television so of course fan-favorites will be all over our screens.

Game of Thrones caught the eye of late night from practically the very beginning. Late Night with Seth Meyers has given us two great sketches featuring Jon Snow at a dinner party and Melisandre at a baby shower. Back during his Late Night days, Jimmy Fallon showed us his version of the show with “Game of Desks.” And Jimmy Kimmel Live! is one of the best places to see stars of the show get grilled over spoilers.

The final season of Game of Thrones starts April 14 on HBO.  The best place to keep up with all things GoT is WinterIsComing.net. You can pretty much guarantee that the show will be the biggest topic in pop culture for April and likely beyond. Late night will be the place that starts the conversation thanks to a week full of Game of Thrones guests.

Maisie Williams

Maisie Williams will kick things off on Monday April 1 with a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. It will be the first visit to Fallon’s show for the Arya Stark actress. Last year she told Jimmy Kimmel that she knows how Game of Thrones ends so clearly she knows how to keep a secret. But be wary of any April Fool’s Day pranks that Williams and Fallon may have planned.

Anyone familiar with Williams’ interviews knows that she has a much different personality than Arya. She is a very funny and very entertaining late night guest which makes her perfect as the GoT star sent to The Tonight Show. Expect her to play a Thrones inspired game or do a bit, knowing Fallon can’t resist pulling off something like this:

Emilia Clarke

Daenerys Targaryen, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men,Protector of the Realm, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Mother of Dragons, The Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, and Lady of Dragonstone, or more simply Emilia Clarke, visits The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday April 2.

Clarke was on The Late Show  a couple years ago so she should be familiar with Colbert the Game of Thrones fan. The main story line of the show will no doubt be discussed but if it is anything like last time, there is a chance the interview covers, or uncovers, any number of topics.

Not only is Emilia Clarke out promoting Game of Thrones but she recently announced a new charity initiative.  She has founded SameYou which seeks to help those have suffered from strokes and brain injuries. Clarke recently revealed she has had two brain aneurysms since Game of Thrones began. Colbert will likely give her another platform to share her story and help get the word out on SameYou.

Kit Harington

Kit Harington has the busiest week of all. It is fitting considering his character Jon Snow is arguably the most popular on Game of Thrones.

First, Harington will return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday April 4. Last time he played a game of charades with Rose Byrne and Blake Shelton. He also revealed that keeping the secret of Jon Snow’s fate wasn’t easy but he used it to his advantage in a pinch.

Harington will almost definitely be used by Fallon to play another game or play along in a prerecorded bit. Don’t be surprised to see Harington out surprising Game of Thrones fans on the street or starring in another Tonight Show parody.

But that’s not all we’ll see of Kit Harington this week. He will be hosting Saturday Night Live on April 6. He joins Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa as Game of Thrones stars turned SNL hosts. Last Night On predicted that Harington would get the call to host so we’re thankful the wish came true.

Game of Thrones sketch on Saturday Night Live is a guarantee considering how often SNL has used the HBO drama for laughs. But it will also give Harington a chance to show off his talents as a performance outside of Jon Snow as his career starts its post-GoT chapters.

Next week will surely bring even more Game of Thrones stars to late night. Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, and Lena Headey are among those we could see sit down for an interview.
