Could the Trump family be the next American political dynasty as Donald Trump Jr. looks ahead to 2024?

The Kennedys. The Bushes. The Trumps? Political families are nothing new in the U.S. so it’s not to far-fetched to imagine that Donald Trump Jr. may be the next in line for the White House from the Trump family tree. For Jimmy Kimmel, that could be a blessing and a curse.

Donald Trump Jr. has hinted he could run for president in 2024. Presumably in his mind this would be following his father’s second term in office after the 2020 election. Who knows where things could go from there with Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner all clearly invested in staying in power.

News that Trump Jr., or DJTJ, was being groomed for the Oval Office caught the attention of Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel is among the late night hosts bashed by President Trump for “one-sided” coverage that is apparently grounds for investigation.

Perhaps as a way of extending an olive branch to the Trump family, Kimmel aired the first ad for Trump Jr.’s 2024 campaign. Take a look for yourself:

Jimmy Kimmel provides DJTJ the same service the late night host gave Ted Cruz. Kimmel seems to have a knack for producing campaign ads.

Trump Jr. in the White House would certainly provide four more years of material for Kimmel and the rest of late night. But that would be assuming a lot, namely that the Trump family goes untouched by multiple investigations and Kimmel doesn’t go insane trying to keep up with the “Trump dynasty.”

It would also mean that the president of the United States and a late night host have a pre-existing feud. Kimmel has not been shy about calling out Trump Jr. and Eric Trump and again on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The defining quality of the Trump dynasty would have to be the love of Twitter beefs. President Trump is making headlines for attacking George Conway online. DJTJ has had his fair share of back-and-forths with Kimmel, too.

We still have to get through the drama of the 2020 election before we can worry about 2024. If Democrats get their way, the Trump dynasty may be over before it starts. And if not, expect Jimmy Kimmel to have a few more campaign ads ready to roll.
