The Late Show With Stephen Colbert continues to make First Lady Melania Trump one of its favorite targets to parody and mock.

Listen, it is no secret that late night hosts are unanimously against President Donald Trump. Every single show makes at least one reference to Trump a night and countless monologues and bits have been dedicated to satirizing and ridiculing the president.

This is, of course, expected. Late night shows have always taken aim at politicians. And now we have perhaps the most divisive leader in the country’s history who stands opposite of the left-leaning hosts. Whatever your politics may be, you should be able to see the humor in some material and admit that things can be too politically motivated at times.

Late night shows have also taken plenty of shots at Trump’s circle. His staff have been the subject of jokes. People like Steve Bannon, Mike Pence, and Rudy Giuliani have all been the butt of jokes. Trump’s family has also been criticized. Sons Don Jr. and Eric are a favorite punchline at Saturday Night Live and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Daughter Ivanka was also tangled up in the controversy stemming from comments by Samantha Bee.

And then there is First Lady Melania Trump. Public opinion has shifted on Mrs. Trump during her husband’s tenure in office. Some have felt bad for her, others have claimed she is complicit. She did herself no favors with her jacket that was used for late night fodder. But comparatively, she has been less of a target for late night hosts. That is, except for Stephen Colbert.

The Late Show has been the show most dedicated to attacking Trump. Far more than Jimmy Fallon or Conan O’Brien, Colbert edges out Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel for time spent calling out the Trump circle. When it comes to Melania Trump, Colbert has covered the jacket fiasco, concerns that the First Lady was in hiding, and those infamous hand swats.

But when Colbert really wants to take down the First Lady, he calls in actress and singer Laura Benanti. She has made at least a dozen appearances on The Late Show impersonating Melania. Her latest spot addressed the topic of Mrs. Trump as a victim of bullying:

We get a few customary jokes about the state of the Trump’s marriage and a ricochet shot against Eric Trump. There is even a line about her outfit that was mocked earlier this month. But it is clear that Colbert doesn’t buy Melania’s claim that she is the most bullied person in the world. As long as she stands next to her husband and witnesses his bully tactics, then Colbert will continue to set his comedic sights on the First Lady.
