Singer Adam Levine and late night comic James Corden were pulled over by the police while filming a Carpool Karaoke segment for The Late Late Show.

The interaction may have been just as entertaining as the skit they were filming…

On James Corden’s Late Late Show, his recurring Carpool Karaoke segments are by far his most popular. For the bits, Corden invites a famous singer along to sing along to some of their hits while driving around in an automobile. It’s always fun to wonder what other motorists would do if they saw this happening in front of them, and now we know how a police officer would react.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Corden had a brush with the law while filming a Carpool Karaoke segment with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. In the new segment, the two were singing the 2002 song “She Will Be Loved” when they noticed sirens flashing behind them. Knowing what to do next, the two wound up pulling over, and it was clear this was going to be an interesting situation.

Levine didn’t seem to sweat the police too much, though Corden was taken aback. Questioning what they want, the officer told them he was pulling them over so Levine can sing a song. Ultimately, they are just told to “be careful” and are let go, but it was truly an awkward experience. It didn’t ruin the segment though, as the two continued to dish out some classic Maroon 5 hits. Getting pulled over is a first for the segment, but it still turned out just as entertaining as they usually do.
