Past halfway through the month of May, summer is fast approaching. Some TV shows are going on hiatus, such as Saturday Night Live which broadcasts its season finale tomorrow night. But what of Real Time with Bill Maher which usually plays new episodes on Friday nights… will we be seeing a new episode of the show on HBO tonight?

Yes, the show is all new tonight! Season 16 resumes with more new Maher to talk about the latest goings-on of the week. At a time when it seems each week is somehow even crazier than the last, it might be tough for Maher to keep up, but he somehow always does.

Joining Maher for the panel discussion will be an array of special guests. Confirmed to be appearing on the show are Dan Savage, Bari Weiss, Evan McMullin, and Dambisa Moyo.

It should be noted that next week, the series will be taking the night off. But there’s still plenty of Season 16 left to go, so don’t hit the panic button just yet. New episodes will resume on June 1, 2018.

Real Time with Bill Maher will be featured on the HBO network for many more years. Last year, the series was renewed to 2020, so Maher isn’t going anywhere for a while. Tune in when the show airs Fridays at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
