James Corden has been invited to Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding

Late Late Show host James Corden has been formally invited to attend the Royal Wedding and both receptions, along with his producing partner.

At this point, only one late night comedian has been invited to attend the Royal Wedding… and it’s James Corden!

Over at TMZ, the news is being reported that Corden has been formally invited to the prestigious event. Also on the guest list is his producing partner, Ben Winston. The Royal Wedding is set to take place next Saturday at St. George’s Chapel in England. Two wedding receptions will also take place, both of which Corden and Winston have access to.

Apparently Corden has been friends with the groom Prince Harry for years, though he wasn’t expecting an invite to the wedding. The comedian did say he’d attend Harry’s bachelor party either way, though it’s hard to tell when the late night comic is joking. In any case, he will definitely be there when the event goes down, which should make for some interesting bits on The Late Late Show.

Ultimately, we’ll see which other press will have access to the event. But Corden may be the only presence from American late night TV to attend. It’s going to be interesting to see what kind of fun the funnyman has at the event!
