In a new teaser ad for the 2018 Golden Globes, Seth Meyers is slyly teasing that he won’t shy away from joking about sexual harassment in Hollywood.

Late Night‘s Seth Meyers will be hosting the 75th Golden Globe Awards early next month, and it’s looking like he’s not going to ignore that big, pink elephant in the room!

You know what I’m talking about. Allegations of sexual harassment have really changed the landscape in Hollywood this past year. Multiple careers have come to an end as a result of troubling allegations coming to light, and even some A-list actors have seen their once-respected celebrity statuses go down in flames.

But the show must go on, meaning the Golden Globes will proceed regardless. But this is clearly a hot button issue that everyone is already thinking. Perhaps to ease the tension, Meyers will joke about the scandals that have plagued the industry in recent months. At least that’s what he’s teasing in the new teaser trailer for the event, in which he says, “We have a lot to talk about.”

You can watch the teaser in the YouTube video below.

Of course, it would be a drag if Seth just talked about that negativity for the entire event. And it’s doubtful that will happen. Just don’t be surprised to hear a joke or two referencing these scandals every so often throughout the show!

The Golden Globes will air on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018 on NBC. In the meantime, you can catch Meyers on new episodes of Late Night with Seth Meyers, weeknights at 12:35 AM EST on NBC.
