Hot off of his Emmy wins, you might be hoping and wondering if there’s a new episode of John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight coming on tonight. Well, you are in luck. The answer is YES, Oliver will be back to deliver his thoughts on the current status of the world in the way that only he can.

Last week, Oliver took the night off, but that’s because he was on CBS attending the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Oliver totally killed it at the awards, to put it lightly. It was up for eight nominations, taking four wins — including that of the coveted Outstanding Variety Talk Series.

During the show, Oliver dedicated his Emmy wins to D.C. public school on account of Dave Chappelle mentioning them earlier in the program. His goal was to make #DCpublicschools trending online, and he did it. I guess just because he’s accepting a prestige award doesn’t mean he can’t have a little fun. That’s how he got to where he is after all.

We can expect Oliver to say something about his Emmy wins, but something tells me he’s going to have a whole lot more to say than just that after taking last week off.
