Will there be an all new episode of Saturday Night Live premiering tonight on NBC? Is the show back yet? We have all of the information right here.

Getting deeper into September, it’s just about time for Saturday Night Live to return. Fans of the show are anxious for the Season 43 premiere. While the show is airing tonight in its usual timeslot, is it going to be a new episode?

Unfortunately, it’s a no go. SNL isn’t back just yet, though new episodes are incoming. Tonight’s episode of the show will feature an encore episode with Kristen Stewart hosting. But the good news is that the wait will not be too much longer.

According to The New York Times, Season 43 of the show premieres on Saturday, Sept. 30. Superstar actor Ryan Gosling will be serving as the host, and Jay Z is coming on as the musical guest. By the time the show premieres, we will learn just how many Emmys it has won out of its 22 total nominations.

Certain faces will be gone when the show comes back. Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, and Sasheer Zamata have moved on to greener pastures. But the good news is that we will definitely be seeing Alec Baldwin coming back as the president of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump.

Season 42 of the show had the highest ratings in over 20 years. SNL is more popular than it has been in decades and we will see if they can continue the upswing when the show comes back at the end of the month.
