Bernie Sanders struggles to say something nice about Donald Trump

During his appearance on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show last night, Bernie Sanders was challenged to say something nice about Donald Trump, and he struggled.
Bernie Sanders is a brutally honest guy, and there’s certainly one thing he makes no secrets about — he’s no fan of Donald Trump.
Last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Sanders appeared on the program to promote his new book. Called the “Bernie Sanders Guide to Political Revolution”, the Vermont Senator aims to educate Americans on how to change the country for the better.
During his interview with Colbert, Sanders is faced with one of his toughest challenges yet. The Late Show host tells him directly to say something nice about Donald Trump. Something, anything… just say something nice about the president. And, for once, Senator Sanders is at a loss for words.
The Bern just can’t seem to find any words, prompting Colbert to go first. “He still has all of his teeth,” Colbert jokes, before adding that he has someone’s teeth, anyway. But this example doesn’t help much, as Sanders continues to draw a total blank. Colbert jokes that someone should tell their affiliates that the show will probably go over.
Finally, Sanders recalls Trump speaking on a couple select issues during his campaign that the two actually agree on. Trump spoke about making prescription drug prices more affordable by taking on the pharmaceutical companies. The president also believes in investing in the country’s infrastructure, which Sanders concurs with as well.
