SDCC: Doctor Who panel to reveal clip from Christmas Special

The Doctor Who panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con will reveal an exclusive preview clip from the series’ 2017 Christmas Special.

It’s almost time for San Diego Comic Con… which means video clips and previews galore are coming. Brace yourselves!

Through all of this exciting upcoming content will be an official Doctor Who panel at the event. With Peter Capaldi gearing up to leave the series, this appearance will essentially be his goodbye to the fans. Showrunner Steven Moffat will also be present, as will writer Mark Gatiss and stars Pearl Mackie, Matt Lucas, and Michelle Gomez. Of course, Chris Hardwick will be moderating.

Thanks to Doctor Who Watch, I’ve also learned something else exciting about the panel. An exclusive clip from the upcoming Christmas Special will be revealed! Obviously, the folks actually in attendance at SDCC will be able to see the clip first. For the rest of us, the video will be online shortly thereafter, so be sure to keep those eyes peeled!

The Christmas Special will air on December 25, 2017. Sure, that’s quite a ways away, but seeing an early clip from it will feel like it’s Christmas in July!
