In a new TV interview with KTLA 5, Daily Show host Trevor Noah spoke about the difficulties in keeping up with the constant breaking news with Donald Trump.

With a president of the United States making so many mistakes every single day, how can Trevor Noah keep up? You literally never know what each day is going to bring. They could be minutes away from filming the next show when another bombshell suddenly drops.

Seriously — how can he possibly keep up?

It’s not easy at all, as Trevor Noah himself reveals in a new TV interview. He says that the way things used to be, he and the writers could finish writing the show at about 5:30 p.m. and call it a day. Now, because you just know something is bound to happen. They’re changing their entire routine to keep up, as Noah reveals:

"“We have this rule now. We sit and watch the clock, and between 5 and 6 p.m., we know something will break. And we wait, and we have to redo the show every single day.”"

Noah goes on to describe it as writing two shows a day. They’ll have one version of the show written, but pending that days breaking news, they might have to come up with an all new show. But the Daily Show host makes it clear that he truly loves it that way.
