NBC has uploaded a blooper reel from Melissa McCarthy’s newest Sean Spicer sketch, and we’ve got the video for you right here.

More Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer? Yes please!

Previously, I wrote about how last Saturday’s Sean Spicer sketch was Melissa McCarthy’s best yet. It lampooned the angry press secretary pretty hard, featuring an extended segment of Spicer riding his podium through New York City. It’s apparent a lot of effort went into this sketch, but it really paid off.

Now, NBC has taken to YouTube to give us even more from the sketch. They’ve uploaded a behind the scenes video showing them making the sketch, including some hilarious bloopers from McCarthy. You get to see several alternate takes of her in character as Spicer and I bet the editors had a very tough time choosing which ones to use.

This episode was the penultimate episode for Season 42 of the long running series. Saturday’s show will be the finale, closing out with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Katy Perry. Johnson is another member of the 5-Timers Club, which Steve Martin officially made McCarthy a member of last week.
