25. Kate McKinnon as Betsy DeVos

Betsy DeVos is now in charge of education. That in itself is a joke but Kate McKinnon playing the woman who couldn’t even answer a simple question was incredible. She showed us just how idiotic the appointment is as well as why people have a problem with Betsy.

If you don’t know, Betsy was asked a simple question by Senator Tim Kaine. Each time he asked her, she never answered it and just kept repeating herself. When he asked if she understood the question, she just repeated herself again.

And McKinnon’s impression (while only done once) brought all that into the character. Now people are campaigning for a celebrity to do the role like Christine Baranski or someone else but really, Kate did incredible. She also does about a million other political impressions (as seen in this article) but they’re all great.

I just hope that that isn’t the last we see of her DeVos. For what that little clip gave us, she is pretty incredible as Betsy. And with everything happening with Trump’s cabinet and the anger that people have over Betsy DeVos, I’m pretty sure that we will see Kate take her on a little bit more and more.
