Eileen Grubba (Alaska)
Sons of Anarchy and Hung actress Eileen Grubba hails from the frigid city of Anchorage, Alaska. After a faulty vaccine infects a child Grubba with a deadly virus, she becomes paralyzed from the waist down. Miraculously, she manages to recover and even beats cancer. Her survival now plays into her role as an advocate for performers with disabilities, as well as families afflicted with genetic cancers.
The talented actress appears in many TV roles, in shows like CSI: Miami, Bones, Criminal Minds, and Cold Case. On the HBO series Hung starring Thomas Jane, Grubba appears as a recurring character. She plays “Missy”, a lady friend of Charlie (played by current The Walking Dead star Lennie James). It’s a small but very memorable role on the show.
Perhaps the most well-known of all Grubba’s roles is that of the FX series Sons of Anarchy. In Season 3, she appears as Precious Ryan, the ex-wife of Bobby “Elvis” Munson. She has two children with Munson, one of which has a health problem and is always asking for money. The running joke with her is that Munson always just tells her that the check is “in the mail”, much to her chagrin.
