The stars are coming out for Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary special. The long-running sketch show teased the guest list expected to appear for its primetime special later this month.

For 50 years, Saturday Night Live has opened its doors to the biggest names in movies, television, comedy, sports, and more. And many of those A-list celebrities are set to return to help Saturday Night Live mark a half-century on the air.

According to a promo video released on Saturday Night Live's official YouTube channel, here are some of the names that will be packing Studio 8H later this month:

Martin Short, Sabrina Carpenter, Pedro Pascal, Paul McCartney, Ayo Edebiri, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Kim Kardashian, Robert De Niro, Bad Bunny, Quinta Brunson, Tom Hanks, Adam Driver, John Mulaney, Paul Simon, Dave Chappelle, Woody Harrelson, Peyton Manning, and Miley Cyrus.

Most television shows would have to spend 50 years to get a lineup that good. Saturday Night Live will have all of them in one night.

And this list doesn't even mention the cast members and writers that are also likely to show up for the party. Expect this group to share the stage with the likes of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Conan O'Brien, Adam Sandler, and more Saturday Night Live alumni.

The Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary guest list features some of the best hosts of all time

There's no denying the star-power on the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary guest list. It also includes some of the greatest hosts the show has seen over the past 50 years.

No list of the top SNL hosts is complete without Steve Martin. You can't blame someone for thinking Martin was an SNL cast member considering how many times he's hosted and appeared in cameos.

Tom Hanks is another actor good enough to be an SNL star. David S. Pumpkins is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Hanks has done in Studio 8H.

In more recent years, John Mulaney and Adam Driver have proven to be all-time greats. And when it comes to controversial hosts, it's hard to top Dave Chappelle.

Saturday Night Live loves a good surprise. So if this is who they're willing to announce for the 50th anniversary, you can only imagine who is waiting in the wings to take the stage.

SNL's 50th anniversary primetime special airs February 16 on NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET.
