Donald Trump's suggestion that he looks like Elvis Presley didn't exactly land with late-night TV. Hosts like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel quickly mocked the former president's comparison to the King of Rock and Roll.

Trump made the claim on social media, sharing an imagie combining his face with that of Elvis Presley. The ex-president added "For so many years, people have been saying that Elvis and I look alike. Now this pic has been going all over the place. What do you think?"

"I think you've embarrassed yourself again," responded Jimmy Kimmel. The late-night TV host did credit Trump for having a "very healthy self-image."

Kimmel then tried to find some commonalities between the former president and the rock music icon. According to the comedian, both have wild hair, both live in "lavish southern estates," both have signature dance moves, and both were under the control of a colonel. For Elvis, it was Colonel Parker, and for Trump, it's Colonel Sanders, joked Kimmel.

Stephen Colbert was just as harsh in his response on The Late Show. He did agree that Donald Trump looks like Elvis ... if you dug up Elvis right now.

Colbert took things a step further as he too tried to find some common ground between Trump and Presley. The comedian joked that in high school, Trump was voted "most likely to die on the toilet" in reference to Elvis' rather ungracious demise.

Usually, Donald Trump unintentionally provides late-night TV with material through his courtroom drama, interviews, and campaign events. But every once in a while, he offers up some low-hanging fruit for the likes of Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert with something like an Elvis comparison.
