Saturday Night Live will remain on hiatus tonight, meaning there won't be a new episode for February 17. However, the break is almost over.

SNL season 49 last aired a new episode back on February 3. The Bear actor Ayo Edebiri made her debut as host, proving that she earned every award she has picked up this season. But SNL didn't get a chance to keep the momentum going with its scheduled hiatus.

The break comes to an end next week. There will be a brand new episode of Saturday Night Live on February 24. Comedian Shane Gillis will host, returning to the show that briefly hired him as a cast member in 2019.

Gillis' (extremely) short tenure on Saturday Night Live is well documented. Past comments he made on a podcast came to light, forcing Lorne Michaels and SNL to let him go before the season began.

But apparently time heals all wounds and SNL will happily welcome back Gillis next week. He'll be joined by musical guest 21 Savage.

NBC will air two Saturday Night Live reruns tonight, February 17

Those fans still looking for a dose of Saturday Night Live tonight are in luck. NBC plans to air two rerun episodes on February 17.

The first episode starts at 10:00 p.m. ET. Tune in to see the season 48, episode 16 episode hosted by Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson. Lil Yachty was the musical guest that night.

Then, a season 49 episode gets another run at 11:30 p.m. You can catch Saltburn star Jacob Elordi's episode to relive all the jokes about his height and looks. Renee Rapp had a solid performance as the musical guest.

More Saturday Night Live content is available through the show's official YouTube channel. Vintage episodes can also be found on Peacock.
