Jimmy Kimmel Live! explains why Trump should fear Kamala Harris

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is still cycling through guest hosts, so it will be a bit before viewers get to hear Kimmel's take on the recent political developments. That said, Lamorne Morris is doing an excellent job filling in.

The New Girl star addressed Kamala Harris' recent pivot to becoming the Presidential nominee for the Democrats, and he made a sharp observation regarding Harris' past credentials. Especially with regards to her opponent, Donald Trump.

LaMorne Morris thinks Harris' law experience scares Trump

During his July 22 monologue, Morris noted that Harris is a lawyer, and Trump has been running afoul of lawyers for most of his professional life. In Morris' estimation, a lawyer is like Kryptonite for the ex-President:

"Trump is very worried because Kamala’s a lawyer. He’s only lost to Joe Biden once, but he loses to lawyers like twice a week."

LaMorne Morris also poked fun at Trump's Truth Social rant following Joe Biden's decision to drop out of the Presidential race. Trump accused Biden of pretending to have COVID to make his health seem worse than it actually is. This, in Morris' opinion, is absurd.

Morris also mocked Trump's social media rant

"Really? Trump thinks Biden never had COVID?," Morris asked the Jimmy Kimmel Live! audience. "You don’t pretend to have COVID to get out of running for president. You pretend to have COVID to get out of going to your cousin’s destination wedding."

During his July 23 night monologue, Morris continued to highlight Harris' achievements. He pointed out that the Presidential nominee managed to raise $100 million for her campaign in only 36 hours.

"Pretty good," Morris conceded. "Now there’s only one other black woman who’s made that much money in a weekend. And that woman’s name is..." The screen behind the comedian then cut to a picture of actor Tyler Perry as Madea. “Tyler Perry. Yeah," Morris said in between laughter. "That boy made a lot of money. Yeah."
