James Corden is ready to return to late-night TV. The former Late Late Show host is scheduled to appear as a guest on an upcoming episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Corden took his final bow as host of The Late Late Show back in April 2023. The British comedian expressed a desire to return home and raise his family closer to his parents and his wife's family.

Now, he's ready to return to the genre that made him a household name in the United States, albeit as a guest and not a host. But Corden's fans will surely be excited to see him back on camera.

Corden is currently scheduled to be the first guest on the January 29 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. It comes just a little two years after Corden previously appeared on The Tonight Show to discuss his decision to leave late-night TV and return to England.

Corden's new gig gives him reason to be out promoting himself on late-night TV. He signed a deal with Sirius XM to produce and host the interview-based podcast This Life of Mine with James Corden.

The podcast will be exclusive to SiriusXM subscribers and those with the app. According to the platform, Corden's podcast will "feature in-depth conversations with some of the most well-known public figures. From favorite music, movies, books, and places, the show seeks to tell their untold stories."

Expect Fallon to give Corden a warm welcome on his late-night TV return. While it's true that the Tonight Show host gives everyone a friendly reception, he also has a history of collaborating with Corden on late-night bits.

Corden will likely do more than just sit down for an interview. Given that both Corden and Fallon are musically inclined, a song or parody seems inevitable.

We'll find out when James Corden returns to late-night TV on January 29.
