Friday brings to a close another eventful week in politics. It's the kind of week that Real Time with Bill Maher loves to cover. So what should fans expect to see tonight on HBO?

Conservatives gathered for their annual CPAC event, Donald Trump had another rough time in court, and Joe Biden continued to manage crises at home and abroad. Bill Maher certainly would have no shortage of topics to discuss.

Unfortunately, we won't get to hear Bill Maher's take on the news on Friday. There will not be a new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight.

Instead, HBO will reair last week's episode. Considering there was a holiday on Monday, it's not all that surprising that Bill Maher and his team took a week off the air.

What to watch instead of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight, February 23

The bad news continues for late-night TV fans. There really aren't many options for new content on tonight's broadcast schedule.

Shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers haven't aired new episodes this week. Nothing changes on Friday as all three will air repeat episodes.

Only Jimmy Kimmel Live! will have a new show lined up tonight. It's a rare Friday night show for Jimmy Kimmel, who has spent the week defending himself against Donald Trump while breaking down the headlines.

The show starts at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC. Kimmel's guest lineup includes Selena Gomez and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
