It didn't take long for Jimmy Kimmel to make headlines in 2024. So what should Jimmy Kimmel Live! fans expect to see tonight on ABC?

Just days into the new year, Kimmel found himself in a brand new feud. This time it's with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The New York Jets quarterback joked that Kimmel should be worried about the names of Jeffrey Epstein's associates being made public. The late-night TV host fired back on social media, suggesting his family was in danger from Rodgers' comments.

However, we won't get to hear Kimmel give an on-camera response on Wednesday night. There will not be a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight.

Instead, ABC will reair the December 12 episode during the show's normal timeslot. The show featured Keegan-Michael Key, Charles Melton, and Lainey Wilson on the guest list.

But it's not like Jimmy Kimmel is ducking from Aaron Rodgers. It just so happens that this feud coincides with Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s annual holiday break. The late-night TV show is in the middle of its second week off the air.

So that means we'll have to wait until at January 8 at the earliest to see if Kimmel wants to respond further. Based on how he's handled feuds with Donald Trump, Jr., Ted Cruz, and others, it's likely that we haven't heard the last in Kimmel v. Rodgers.

Then again, if Kimmel's family safety really became an issue due to Rodgers' comments, it's probably best to leave this in the past. Kimmel will have plenty on his plate in 2024 without a back-and-forth with a NFL superstar.
